The Institute of Radical Chemistry ICR hosts various working groups dealing with transverse topics relevant to society and willing to improve the life quality at work. You will find below the composition of these groups as well as some actions they have carried out.

2024 CNRS Call for Projects on Ecological Transition

Water-saving kits have been distributed to the research teams.

• For filtrations, pumps can be used as an alternative to water aspirators.
• For reflux experiments, pumps and tanks allow the use of condensers in a closed-loop system.

Tip for reflux setups: add a few drops of eosin to prevent algae growth.

After the 2022 and 2023 edition, the Digital Clean Up Day is back at ICR! Time for a big cleaning in the mailboxes and computers!

5 “Digital Data Cleaning” workshops were organized. These actions contribute to reduce the digital environmental footprint of the ICR. 40 participants and 800 GB of digital data cleaned in total at the ICR.
